New fore sails !

Good day,
I was planning on adding (to 800 cruising) a bowsprit & an asymetric (snuffer or furler for 90 - 170 Deg) this year but reckon my Genoa probably needs replacing as 2nd repair to roach is now needed.
Any thoughts on swapping to a high aspect jib for stronger winds + the few races we do / pointing etc & a gennaker + furler on a bowsprit as a working rig - I sail single handed quite a bit.
I do have a spinn for downwind if crew & conditions suit.
Any opinions gratefully received ?
