DF25 Sport issue with Suzuki 6 engine

Hi,

Happy owner of a DF25 Sport version since 3 years now (#69) I have encounter several issues with the standard Susuki engine 6 hp outboard

After only some use the motor refuse to start and the mechanician told me that one of the valve was jam due may be to some water going inside the motor.
They suspected that if the motor is set too quickly in the raised position the water can enter inside the engine !!!

The issue is that when you are leaving the harbor with the engine and then hoisting the main sail, the boat is taking some speed quickly and the motor lift up accordingly !

Did someone experience similar issue with the outboard engine ?
