Outboard Control Cables and Anchor Mount

Anyone know the length of their outboard throttle/gear control cables?
We currently have what look like overly long cables that are coiled inside the back stowage hole and seem to be the cause of our issues with selecting reverse. I am wondering what length the cables should be and whether short 3ft cables will work?
Separately does anyone know if the factory wing mount for the anchor is Quorning specific or an aftermarket part? Considering adding one to get the anchor out of the bow locker and make anchoring easier!
