I own a 920 which is great for beaching, but just wondered if you can dry out a DF1000 on a beach etc? Or does the saildrive hit the ground, and therefore prevent drying out?

There is no saildrive in DF1000. I have never tried to dry it out because there is not much beaches here in Finland.

I seem to remember being told not to beach the 1000 for drying out as the hull was not designed for this.
