My compass Whitlock has lost a little bit of liquid during winter storage and there is a little air bubble inside. Does anyone know what is this liquid nowadays (unfortunately it is not any more pure alcohol ) and how to fill it?

Now I have finished this task succesfully. The liquid is aviation fuel kerosine. It was quite easy to get the compass full filled.
