Buying an old DF25 - some questions

Hello,
I am new here and new to Dragonfly trimarans and I have a few questions.
I am on the verge of buying an OLD DF25 trimaran, from 1990, in the USA. The pictures are matching all other DF 25 of that generatiion EXCEPT that it has the swing wing mechanism.
I know that the folding amas firt appeared on the DF800 just prior to 1990.
I know also that most first generation DF25 did NOT have this option, however, the site sailbaotdata.com ;entioned that some of the last ones built may have it...
Finally, I know that some boats were built under license in Canada, and some "clones" like the Firefly or the Elan 7.7 appeared.
How do I make sure that this is a genuine DF25? The owner has not been able to locate a Manufacturer Plate on the boat... (where is it supposed to be located?)
What are the key areas I have to check for wear and tear, for this type of boat of that era?
Is the whole boat made of composite with foam core or are some areas with solid glass or balsa core?
In advance thank you for any expertise you can bring on this boat!
Laurent
