Window seals

The rubber seals for our windows are deteriorationg, they bulge, and the surface rubs off easily, both inside and out. I’d like to get them changed before they leak. Has anyone replaced their seals, I am faced with the prospect of tak8ng a window out simply to find what seal profile has been used. That might be some time with no window, so any guidance would be gratefully recieved.

Hei Martin

I had the same problem with my DF920e. I demounted the windows, removed the rubber gaskins and applicated Sikaflex 552 to fix the window in the frame. I will also use sikaflex to glue the window to the hull. Before appliying Sikaflex on the aluminium frame, you have to put primer on the aluminium.
