My centre board line is quite old, and looking a bit tired
Can the line be changed with the boat in the water or do I need to take the centrboard out with the boat in a hoist?

DF800 Winter Storage
I take my boat out every winter and store it on the trailer with the mast down and the amas removed. This usually takes a few hours to do but I know is safe. Reading the forum I noticed johp apprear to store his on the trailer with the amas on and the mast up http://www.dragonfly-trimarans.org/phpBB...

It is most likely to be the seals on the hatch handles, or rather the o-rings assuming the wet area is the storage area and its not water coming up through the inspection hatch in the bulkhead below! The o-rings sealing the handles fail. Spares for the moonlight hatches in the UK is Houdini: www.hou...

Does anyone know what model trailer was used for the DF800?
It would appear that the only source of keel rollers is in Sweden!
Anyone know of a UK supplier?

DF800 Mast Rotation Set up
Hi Please can someone post a picture of the mast rotation set up. My DF800 was originally supplied with a Junk Rig and had the standard set up retro-fitted. The mast rotation set up is very poor and I can't help thinking not all the parts were ordered. I am sailing round the UK and keep chaffing the...

Jackstays
I am planning a single handed trip round the UK, considering fitting jackstays, has anyone done this?
Views on mounting points?
If I'm going to drill the hull will large diameter washers (we call them penny wahshers) be sufficient to spread the load?
Regards

UK Trampoline Repairs
Had a simialr problem to you guys, the tread went holding the tramp together. Took it off (with the float out) and had it repaired by Mouse Sails in Holyhead. They collected it, repaired it and dropped it back to the marina inside a week for £60. I can't recommend them enough, they will be getting m...

DF 800 CE Rating
Hi I looked on the spec page and noted that the DF800 has a CE Cat B rating. According to a page I found the Directive 94/25/EC has four boat design categories: A — Ocean B — Offshore C — Inshore D — Sheltered waters Is an DF800 really Offshore rated? I found another page which defines the categorie...

The stainless supports fit into the underside of the traveller in a channel. A M6 bolt tightens the stainless support to the traveller channel. There is a clearance hole in the beam itself. I fitted them as the original, but cannot believe they stop lateral movement. they are only into fibreglass at...

The replacement job wasn't too bad. I ordered a length of the traveller section from the UK importer which arrived within 5 days and was just under £200. it was a standard length 3m I think. I took the old one out as a templater and took the pair to an precision engineering company to make the angle...

Mount for Tender Engine
Wondering if fitting a second engine mount is viable to hold a tender engine.

DF 800 Traveller / Rear Hinge Corrosion
No doubt its common practice for many of you, but check the rear hinge where the traveller runs through the hull. I was just about to launch my DF800 when I found extensive electrolytic corrosion. The separating material had broken down and stainless steel, aluminum and salt water make ideal conditi...
