Centreboard control lines HOW TO CHANGE THEM
We have now done ours. This is how we did it. 1. Boat out of the water.- we do not have a road trailer only a yard trolley. Our boat sits with about 63 cm clearance below to the ground. 2. Lie under the boat and look at the forward end of the centreboard. 3. Locate the 12mm Allen key head bolt and r...

Thank you for your reply. Our rigger has supplied a new part which is modified from a Z spars part and looks exactly as our original toggle.

Curtain rod/rail support fittings
At last I have found the white two part fittings which hold the middle of the curtain rods. Ours are falling to pieces! They are available from the Hallberg Rassy online shop. https://shop.hallberg-rassy.com/contents/en-us/p745_Curtain-Rod-Holder-(6-pcs).html Not cheap but I don't want some weird ho...

No I haven't made any progress with this topic. I have rebuilt our trampolines with new keder tapes and pvc outer and aft edging. Also we had new wires fitted by a rigger. So far We haven't needed to replace the mesh. I think it may be possible to get something suitable from Kayospruce near Southamp...

New Trampolines
Hi, has anyone purchased new trampolines for a 920 extreme in the UK? If so, who did you buy from?
Did you buy through quornings or from someone else.
Our trampolines are getting very tired and I need to make a plan to replace them. Any advice appreciated.

Lifting Eyes
No we didn't see any warning signs. There was no rust bleeding evident and all appeared as normal. We checked they were tight and aligned correctly just before the lift.
We have now replaced all 4 eyes with some new larger ones. Originals were 10mm diameter and the new ones are 12mm diameter.

We have always had our 920 lifted using the lifting eyes and rated strops until this time when one of the lifting eyes BROKE! Hi Andy I don't know if they are all the same. We have the sink and the electrical switch panel on the port side just inside the door. If you pull out the drawer from under the cockpit sole and crawl into the space under the cockpit, it is on the floor on the port side close to the rear of the bulkh...

Hi Andy. We never did find a match for the push button and we looked for over a year. In the end we just took it to bits and carefully cleaned it, lubricated it (sparingly) and reassembled it. We take care to make sure it always comes back out after we have pushed it. We did find the relay and have ...

For information we have solved our problem with the loose grab rail. The grab rail has welded studs that pass through the deck and are attached inside with nuts and washers. We were able to access the bolts behind the headlining in the main cabin. We drilled a hole in the lining of the head and were...

Please note that the bolts were not in the way of the reaming and I believe our fabricator when he tells me he only touched it. We have had some new hinge pins made as there was significant wear. We had a stainless guy reaming the holes to fit the new larger pins. He said he touched one of the nuts and it fell off!!! BEWARE OF YOUR COACH BOLTS
We were doing some maintenance this winter and discovered that some of the coach bolts which secure the stainless steel hinge structure to the main hull HAD SHEARED OFF!
I have photos if you want details. Check your bolts and replace if you have any doubts.

Loose grab rails on cabin roof
Our deck grab rail is loose above the toilet compartment. The forward end of the rail lifts by about 2 or 3 mm from its proper location. Does anyone know how these attach? Is the rail fixed with a through deck fitting? The headlining in the toilet compartment appears to be permanently attached, so w...

Hello Mal, We bought two hard plastic bearings from Multihull Solutions. They are the DF supplied ones. Thank you for your posting. We have now done the job and have successfully reinstalled the rudder housing. The shaft is much firmer in the new bearings. Actually once you get to grips with the thing it's not a difficult job really. The UK agent had the bearings which we then got machined to size as ...

The tripping action is ...

We replaced the lower rudder bearing, bronze bush, the winter before last, but now find that there is quite a lot of play in the upper bearing. We have bought a replacement white teflon bearing. When we tried to fit it we realised that the inside diameter of the bearing is too small to accommodate t...

We have had exactly the same problem so I imagine this is not uncommon. We would like to know where to buy replacement press button cabin light switches as one of ours has failed. The switch is a black round button in a clear plastic surround. Does anyone know who makes them or where to buy them?
